HELP WANTED
Gathering all info on Animorphs is harder than you might think! There were once several communities devoted to the series back when it was still running. There were thousands of websites out there with a new one being made each day. Unfortunately now it's all gone. All websites on the series have shut down, and information and media related to Animorphs is scattered and lost. I've gathered what I could find onto this website, and I still have a lot more content to put online that I've saved over the years (some of it is lost forever), but I need your help in finding things I'm still missing inorder to fully complete this archive of Animorphs. Here is the list:
Memorabiia Hunters Wanted
We're looking for folks that have collected all the great merchandise from Animorphs popularity. Clothing, toys, kites, stationary, etc. If you have anything of Animorphs that hasn't been posted on this website or if you have better pictures of it, then please send it in!
We're also looking for folks that can get us pictures of all the cool items that we got with some of the books. Some countries even got exclusive things.
What we still need:

Fan Art, Fiction & Videos
This website can always use more fan work. We know there are so many talented fans out there that are still being creative, so share with us!
Looking for Reviewers & Writers
There's not much going on now that the series is finished. But that doesn't mean you can't review or write about the series anymore. Got any theories as to how something worked? Send it in! Factoids, Goofs, Termanologies, Debates, Guides for new readers,... any creative thoughts or ideas you'd like to contribute to this site are more than welcome to be submitted.
Scanners Needed!
Absolutely anything at all!
If it has to do with Animorphs: Flyers, stickers, ads, instruction booklets, whatever. If you can scan something that isn't on this archive yet, then send it our way!
Inside Covers
The official website released the inside covers for books #1-38. I'm looking for people who can scan me the inside covers for the rest of the series #39-54. As well as for the Chronicles & Megamorphs.
UPDATE: WE HAVE ALL OF THE INSIDE COVERS! Thanks to everyone who really went out of their way to help out. I really do appreciate it!

Contest Winners
In book #4, a contest was given out to Animorph fans to submit answers of what type of animal they wished they could morph into. The winners of the contest were then chosen over the following months, and the top 3 winners got to be morphed into the animal of their choice in the back of the books.
I would like to be able to get scans of these winners and the original contest rules to add to the archive. The three winners were added in the back of the following books:
Instructions ----- #4: The Message
Winner #1 ------- Megamorphs #1
Winner #2 ------- #10: The Android
Winner #3 ------- #12: The Reaction
Received:
Winner #1 by Monster
Winner #2 by Sat
Winner #3 by Sat
Contest Rules by Monster & JRTCMA
Update: Got them all! Thanks to everyone who scanned in these items!

Video of K.A. Applegate's Webcast (1999)
This webcast was made before Y2K. It announced several details that were to come for the series, and even announced a fan who won some prizes (Andrew M.). I have the transcript and the pictures for this webcast, but I can't find the video download for this anywhere. It was originally made available by MAS (Monster's Animorphs Website) and on Ziana Astrola's Animorph Galaxy. Unfortunetly, both sites have long since shut down and the owners can no longer be reached. If anyone has this download still saved somewhere, then please e-mail me! You are our last HOPE!
Update 2008-06-27: The Video is now found! James (Monster) got a hold of me and was able to recover the webcast as it was from his backups! Thanks James! Click here to see the webcast!
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Who are you? You seem to know a lot about the series.
My name is Issam. I'm a 24 year old Graphic Designer. You can visit my art website at www.issamshahid.com.
Back when the series was still running, I used to run a fan website called Aximlli's Animorphs. It doesn't work anymore because the webhost that I had all of my content on messed around with my javascript coding and it was just too big of a project for me to restart or fix at the time.
It also hasn't been updated for over 5 years, almost as long as when the series was finished. I had wanted to build a shrine or an archive of Animorphs back at that time also but unfortunetly little things just kept coming up (like College for instance!)
but now I've finally found the time I needed to go back and revisit this old project. I've slowly kept it alive over the years by adding little things here and there in my collection of Animorphs Data.
Why are you spending so much time on a 6+ year old book series?
I thought that was obvious. Animorphs is a great book series. Just because it's over doesn't mean you should forget about it! Animorphs was an incredibly big part of my life as a kid. I got hooked on to series from the very first book in 1996, and for the next five years I went to the book store every month to pick up a new Animorphs book. I wouldn't have stuck with the series that long if I didn't think it was amazing.
My goal now, after looking back at the series after much time, is to bring Animorphs back from its slump and lack of information available online. The hundreds of thousands of websites that I used to visit while the series ran are all shut down, or erased. Anyone who is picking up the series for the very first time probably won't have a clue as to where to ask questions or even discuss the incredibly long series. My hope is to atleast bring back some of that same experience and knowledge of enjoying the series for newer and older fans alike.
How can I send you my stuff? (Fan art, fiction, videos, etc)
If you want to submit something to this site then you can e-mail me your art, fiction, and videos, or you can post them on the forum for me to put on the website as well. If you have a comment or a suggestion for the website then you can also use the contact form.
How can I link to your website?
First off, thanks for linking me. If you have an Animorphs website that is currently active then please get a hold of me and I'll add you. If you would like to link my website on your page, the web address is http://www.hiracdelest.com

<a href="http://www.hiracdelest.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/3959/sitebannerlinkxr5.jpg" alt="Hirac Delest - An Animorphs Archive" width="468" height="60" border="0" /></a>
You can also link to my website with a banner, using the code above. Just copy and place the html code to where you want to use it.
I heard that there is an Animorphs movie being made!!! Is there any truth to this?!
Yes and No, but mostly No at the current moment. I know that there's a lot of hype flying around, but nothing solid has been confirmed about an Animorphs movie in production yet. Most of you are probably wondering how this bit of news all got started. Well, it all happened when K.A & Michael started visiting RAF a little while back (Jan 2008) and did a bit of Q&A with the fans before moving to Italy. I was lucky enough to get my question in. Here's how it went:
Me: "What did you think of the TV show? Also, with so many children's books being adapted into movies these days (with much better CGI effects to back up their storytelling now) is there a chance that Animorphs might make it to the big screen one day? What would you hope they would do (and wouldn't do) if they adapted the series? Where would you want the story to start? Where would you want it to change from the books?"
K.A / Michael: "We didn't like the TV show much. We were upset that they went live action rather than animated because we knew they wouldn't have the budget to do it well. Doing it right would have been very, very expensive. What they ended up with was rubber Andalite heads on sticks. I think we watched two episodes.
There is a reasonably serious move under way to do a big budget Animorphs movie. By that we mean that a producer has contacted us and let us know that he would be pitching the idea to the studios -- as soon as the WGA strike is over. The producers are serious guys. The studios they are going after are people who could actually pull it off. But right now it's still probably a 20 to 1 shot. Keep your fingers crossed. I'll say this: the producer is a serious Anifan."
And that's all we've heard of so far. This was stated back on January 19th, 2008. The WGA strike is long over, but we haven't heard anything from K.A or Michael about the status of how the pitch went for the Animorphs movie.
Most likely K.A and Michael are as clueless as us at the moment and haven't been approached about what happened or what will happen. Either that, or the pitch has been unsuccessful so far. Still, that's all speculation at the moment. Who knows how hollywood works, or how long it takes for an idea to fully take off to get production started? Rest assured that any legitimate news (from confirmed sources) about any potential upcoming movie for Animorphs will be posted on Hirac Delest as soon as we hear it.
